I took 8 photographs of myself (front, right side, back, left side, and the 45 degrees in between) and layered them on top of each other in photoshop. I used layer masks to blend them all together.

I got this idea from my good friend Neil Marshall who did exactly this for a art project when we were in university.

The Posthumous Masters Challenge gave me the perfect excuse to try it out.

Gives new meaning to being "two faced." LOL Isn't photoshop the best?

Strangely engaging. I've looked at it many times and it seems to work on more than one level at a time, just doesn't stand still, visually or reflectively.

I see your friend Neil is into 3d modelling/animation because this is exactly how human textures are created for 3d models. Nice effort.

This is completely strange and wonderful! What if we as a species evolved in this direction--our minds literally expanding. ;0) Well shot and blended, I especially like the blending around the chin/neck.
