Seems just a tad oversharp or else the contrast took some of the highlights too far. I do like how the rock pulls you into the picture. 6

Then why does the lighting and contrast look so unnatural? To make the photo look good for DPC.

Not entirely sure about the composition... but I really like the rich contrast and the velvety hint of color.

love all of the elements that lead you all around the frame, going with a 9 here, nice duotone conversion too

I like that this is monochrome. It is a little jarring at first look. It takes a minute to figure out what is going on within the landscape. Nice variety in the tones.
