I honestly don't believe this one ended up under 10th place.
There is a magical feel about this, a softness well shown and a 3D appearance that really works for this. Almost reminds me of an old postcard or similar. If this had been mine, it would have been my Best of 2008 for sure.

Love the dreamy feel to this. Nice BW as the contrast between the foreground and background are very well captured. 8

I don't really care for the photo but it's not about personal taste is it? Other then being centered the photo is perfect and it's totally 3D to me: 10

Lovely photo. The tree on the far left is little distracting. The darkness takes away from the brightness of women/bride.

Truly a fine piece of art.
THIS is what photography is all about.
DPC needs to fix something - I tried to fav it again and it won't let me.

I think a little more dodging on the horse might even the light out a little better...and perhaps a different composition might be more interesting? But otherwise this is beautiful.

Trash it! Trash it! In the mud!!! OK, just kidding. Great wedding shot. I might have tried to tone down the highlights in the upper right. They pull the eye away. 7

I truley like this image, I just think having the subject dab smack in the middle of the frame is too much in your face. Rule of thirds should of been observed imo.
