This is a tribute to AlexSaberi with his awesome photo.

I did the same thing as him. I taped a spiderman picture to my head and shot this in my garage. The door was a little bit open to allow some light in. In photoshop, I burned the middle a lot and then used the smooth tool to make it look realistic. Then I dodged on the left side a lot too. And I got lucky with how my eye turned out.

Thanks for the 6th place!

Your use of existing artwork has deceived me into thinking you are half human half spiderman.

If you are like this at age 12, what are you going to be like when you're 22??? Awesome dude!

Hoping to hear how this was done, after the end of voting. Very well done. The transition from mask to face is excellent!

Nice double exposure and the boy's expression is spot on. A pity that the mask size doesn't match the head size, but you were right to concentrate on getting the jaw lines to match up and to have a darkish top of the image which helps minimise this.

this would have been real good if the mask was a little more to scale for the boy's face. Great effort.7

Excellent concept and well done too - it looks a bit like the Spiderman half should be a bit smaller though, as it appears as if the top of the head would be at different heights for each half.

I don't know how you did this but I like it.

I think we have a winner in here, wonderful lighting, creative idea, perfect PS work. The only thing I am not sure about is the eye to eye ratio, if you are to complete the mask, the eyes would be sticking together, but WTF, it is 10 for sure :)
