Wish it wasn't fuzzy horse season. I've been searching for this angle and expression on a horse for many years.

Nik pro contrast, tonal enhancements, bw conversion, soft focus with diffusion. Burn the background some, though the bw conversion did most of that.

thanks for the super comments, and I'm very pleased by posthumous totally getting what excited me about the shot.

Wow! I'm speechless... And I kind of like the fuzz.

I am green with envy, I've wanted to get a shot like this since forever! What is the horse doing that has his (?) mane flying like that?

A fresh perspective on such a familiar animal - there's lots to appreciate here. Really nice job.

Nobility ehhh, more like wild abandon, or frolicking. I did a little cowboy work on the side while living in Idaho, and have seen that look before, and I see wild oats. LOL

It really does speak of the majesty, the nobility of the animal. The fuzzy is fine by me - rich texture to catch and play the light.

this is simply gorgeous, exactly on the edge between pure abstract beauty and surreal bizarreness. The textures are great, as is the lighting. The solid pile of shapes reminds me of art class, when we tried to concentrate on the shapes that compose a form, and making them solid. Quite stunning.

The stark black and whites really make this stand out. How on earth did you get the horse to cooperate enough to get this shot?

Fantastic movement and intensity. I love the curves against the black background.

Sweet. Very horsey. Someday you will get one where the skin is as smooth as Italian marble & it will make you famous.

Stunning. I agree with colorcarniva about the unicorn comment.
