A handsome open environ composition with placement of the bench w/Rodin "The Thinker" posing figure & curious metallic shimmer from halogen/tungsten gives this an other worldly quality.

From the Critique Club

Wow, pretty cool shot you have here. As far as critique... really not much I would have personally done different. The composition is very good and I don't see a different angle I would have chosen. The exposure is wicked. I've done a lot of shots similar as a photojournalist so I know the lighting is true. The only thing I would have tried and I'm not sure if you did or not would have been noise reduction? Other than that I really can't find anything that bothers me with this shot. Very nicely done.

What an unusual image! I like the curvature of the hill, and the tree as context for the bench. Not fond of the color cast, however.

The trees in the background are a gorgeous colour and the dark foreground work really well.

Nice light/processing with the golden glow. Like the composition - the "thinker" and the tree.

I'm confused! Is this IR? Unusual lighting - congrats on causing me to stare at this one!

enigmatic.
With a square crop it could be a 70's album cover.
In fact, with a square crop placing the figure in the centre, you would then have the background trees descending in height from the left, and would cut away the distracting trees on either side. - just a thought. good luck

What a fascinating image! The perspective, with its rounded horizon and bright yellow trees, looks like it's from another planet, or an imagined place.

Among the overly-contrasty and false color images here, this one does stand out. I love the concept and composition. The contrast and colors work to enhance an otherworldly appearance to this image.
