I had this idea right from the start but I wanted to shoot it with a broken mirror and I couldn't find one anywhere. I even asked everyone I could find if they had an old mirror that I could have so I could break it and I came up empty. I even drove over to the other side of town where it was garbage day and still nothing. So I grabbed the mirror from our wall and set off to do the shoot.

The dark object on the left of the picture really takes the focus away from the mirror and the subject...this doesnt quite work but its a really nice idea.

a little too much in the foreground- it's a little distracting in my opinion. great concept though.

I like the emotional aspect captured here. The b&w process helps this along. I think I might have prefered the frame to be in focus here.
