I don't get abandonment here. Mum is watching and I'm sure, ready to intervene if he strays too far. Nothing is quite in focus here. It had the makings of a really nice shot, though. Nice composition and colour arrangement.

Aw, poor puppy! I'm a sucker for cute baby animals. That said, nothing really seems to be in focus here? I would like it more if the lonely puppy was in sharp focus.
