 This wonderful Abbey is the final resting place of our last English King, Harold, who was defeated by William the bastard at the battle of Hastings 1066 by an arrow in the eye. Poor sod, that must of hurt. I am learning quite a bit about local history as I am working with a writer & historian Pamela Shields on her new book (yes I'm getting published for the first time in my life). I hope this unusual use of a mirror will be popular with the voters, it is not the shot that will be published in the book, of cause, of the Abbey but was one of my personal favorites from todays shoot (30th Oct)
