The border wasn't necessary, but I like the moment you've captured. Pulls the viewer into the action.

I love the way she reaches into the lens.

I don't quite get the significance of the sunglasses, except that they are all wearing them. I like the shot, however. They appear to be very actively pushing whatever cause they are supporting. I feel like this woman is giving me a handbill about the cause. (Whether I want to take it or not!) Could have done without the negative border though. It distracts me from the point of the image.

This is one of the shots that cries to be converted to BW and says lose the border. I say try this
Up the contrast slightly ... lose the border ... and convert to BW ... slight adjust to levels ...
This shot would be top 10. Great capture

This is a very fun, very energetic, very interesting shot. Sure, just people, but what vibrant people! Nicely done. And a nifty border with the negative image thing going on.

This is a good PJ piece. I really like the composition and how the lady is reach out of the frame, it gives it some depth. I think the photo would have been better without the two in the background as it gives more relation to the sign. Probably need to be shot more more stop down for good focus on the lady, but a minor point. Good contrast and color. (Not sure I understand the border). Overall I think this is a good documentary style piece and highly rated.

Not sure what the scene is protesting, but I like the framing color and emotion in the shot... your title on the other hand ;-)

Border doesn't do much for the photo but otherwise okay.

The guy looks a bit like Jack Nicholson! LOL I think that the border kind of detracts and you are likely taking flack for it, right? My bet is that you're fairly new to DPC, right? I had to learn that lesson the hard way too! LOL I learned all too quickly about the framing and borders. It's fun but, DPCers don't tend to like them very much and will down scores because of it. I'm not! I am judging the photo for the photo. :)
