Black & white was a good choice for this, I feel. The emphasis is really thrown on the patterns and texture.

I really like the B&W and high contrast. I took something similar but never thought to process it like that.

Excellent shot Chris. Very nice in B & W. Like the square crop. Would also like to see a similar shot with the main vein on the diagonal.

Beautiful leaf! Looks good in a square crop.

My personal preference would have been for a little more detail overall, more "gray" - this is almost all either blacks or whites, and even though it looks good, I find it a bit hard on my eyes.

It's very interesting that you chose an almost symmetrical composition, almost right down the middle, but not really. I was thinking at first, either it should be right down the middle, or pushed over further to one side, or at an angle or something like that, but in looking at it more, it actually works as it is. Very nice.

I love these leaves and I love taking pictures of them. Don't they look like little maps of a suburban area?

Great patterns/designs. Good choice of B&W to emphasize this.

I like this one. I have always wanted to do this. I like the well defined lines in the leaf. Great shot.
