Very cool capture and expertly directed. Great idea on the front man remaining motionless and the background group moving their heads... Really creates a powerful image.

With this one, my thoughts are that I'm afraid our voting community still has a bit of the "doesn't get it" disorder as far as being artsy and creative. To me, it very much looks like a high-6, dpc-friendly style as far as subject, composition and processing, but the artistic (and very cool in my opinion) use of blur probably is a little ahead of most of the voters in the artsy department. Plus, the free study factor doesn't help much either.

Again, tho, I think it is AWESOME, and one I would have voted really high.

Keith was starting to have second thoughts about the band he'd joined. While they played well, it was very hard to sit around and compose music with them, what with that... affliction they had.

Not to mention the trouble Danny had with trying to play the Trumpet.

That was just embarrassing.

Some people have told me that the 'halo' effect is noticeable: like it's a bad thing. I see it here and I don't know what they're talking about: 9

I like the lighting and treatment, except the yellow cast on their faces. Really nice job overall.

Great photo! I love the concept, and the color, exposure, sharpness, etc. are all wonderfully executed as well. :)

very creative and amazing lighting. I wish the guy on the right of the guy in focus had a bit more blur. But great job
