Went out to shoot the little broken-down shack (that you see in the distance), but these two just wouldn't stay out of the frame ;O)

Guess it was okay - as I really like the way it turned out. My wife kept feeding them hay from this side of the fence, but they were sure interested in my camera & nearly took the hat off of my head a few times.

pp:
No crop.
convert from raw into 3 different lighting edits.
joined in CS3
curves, curves, & more curves (manual HDR simulation)
B&W layer to play with the lighting & desat the background

Hope it does okay... i love the tones in this.

While it's a little lacking in the originality department it's a wonderfully captured and processed image. Good luck.

Wilbur and WhiteSpot (don't bother him, he's very sensitive", wandered the fence line yet again. These darkening skies at noon worried them, as it seemed to be drying up all the available grazing lands, turning soil into dust, and food into inedible straw and sticks.

All they knew was that if situations didn't change, they would one day starve to death. So they set out on an adventure to find the cause, with only one starting clue to guide them, "Seek out he with the ND"

What this ND was, or why it was important, they would find out. Eventually.

They're horses of course so it's only fitting they get a 10.

This is fabulous! I love how the horses just pop... the angle...the perfect sky...the clarity. Your processing is wonderful! I definitely have to use my wide angle more.
