Pre-challenge notes:
I'll probably get creamed for the letter not being obvious enough and maybe for the narrow crop I used.

Post-challenge notes:
Came in about where I expected. I had a hard time getting any wow factor out of this while still making the shape of the letter stand out. I was pleased to see a few commenters mentioned that my choice of crop did work for this shot.

Nice shot I like the black and white background... somewhat hard to find the M but I like it.

the narrow crop works pretty well here - it is probably not how I would have composed the shot but it works - the selective desaturation is also well done to emphasize the M

Back to comment: Well spotted, I see the M perfectly. Interesting that you chose a panoramic crop for this. There's nothing particularly special about the extra scenery, but nonetheless it works. Nicely done :)
