Challenge: Safety (Basic Editing)
Camera: Canon EOS-400D Rebel XTi
Location: My bathroom
Date: Sep 16, 2008
Aperture: F20
ISO: 400
Shutter: 8 Seconds
Galleries: Humorous
Date Uploaded: Sep 16, 2008

This was another last minute rushed attempt.
The weather was terrible and Ive been working the past few days but at least I got to play around with white balances on the camera.
My bathroom is a cream tone so it was difficult to make the colours stand out.

I wanted to do something light-hearted as Im sure Safety will be full of serious images.

Cropped.
Straightened horizon.
Digital camera noise removal in Paint Shop Pro.
Brightened.

I am loving the comments and reaction to this shot.

The score isn't too high but at least people are enjoying it!

Very fun and clever shot. White balance may be a tad off.

Hilarious take on the challenge. The lighting is extremely harsh.

Hahaha! Brilliant idea. The execution could improve though. I would love to see this image desaturated and a tad over exposed.

Leaving the seat up seems more of risk taking then a matter of safety to me. Especially since your showing 'somebody' already in the act of having fallen in. However, your photo is certainly funny, which I don't think safety should be, and I'm sure the voters will love that: that its funny. There is nothing bad about the photographic quality of your photo: it does look kind of 'smooth'. I think you'll probably do very well in the challenge.

I'm thinking this would have been great for the "risk" challenge

Funny! Was the soft focus done on purpose? It doesn't seem to add to the photo. The lighting is very nice.

I love it. Very numerous. The only complaint, the photo feels a little over exposed.

Haha, made me chuckle. Looks a wee bit smooth, I like that look personally but most I'm sure will tell you it needs sharpening.
