That is some shot of some people. (This is lovely BW and mood, and particularly resonates with a lingering impression I have of e e cummings many many years ago reading at a lectern lit only by a gooseneck lamp shining on his bald head).

I like this and the use of negative space is effective. It almost looks like his hat is floating.

Such a great job here. The high contrast is really striking - like he's shy to expose his inner thoughts to the world and he's hiding in the shadows.

Wow! It would be nice to see a tiny bit more shadow detail, but otherwise it's awesome. The negative space and high contrast work so well together.
