Shot at PNC Park during tonight's Pirates/Reds game. We lost, but that was a given. I cloned out a few guide lines that hang annoyingly above this deck of the park.

What an awesome photo! I love baseball so much! And this is one of the coolest baseball photos ever! If only they had been playing the Astros that day -- not only would you have been rewarded with a Pirates win -- but then I'd have to buy a print of it :)

You TOTALLY ROCK!

Edited: oooops type-o's :)

I'm goin' for an official cheesesteak tomorrow! I had one tonight in Asbury Park, but I have to get one in Philadelphia itself! :)

There is no way to take a bad photo at that park. It really is the best, and I don't even like baseball.

Congrats on your beautiful image. I dont think it could get any better then this. I love looking at it and searching for different things in the photo. Great job.

Great details throughout the image. I also really enjoy the perspective and the fact that you included some fans. It makes you feel like you are in the stadium. My only (minor) complaint: I wish you included more of the PNC Park sign. From what I can see, it's NC Park. Great job, otherwise!

Very nice shot Alan. I may have to go to one of those games, if only for that view! Have to say I'd rather see the igloo, but alas, its always 'dry' this time of year.

Thanks to all for the kind words! This park has only been open since 2001, and it really is an amazing place. Readers Digest just rated it the best park in America in an article last week. The view of the city is great, and it's a super place to watch a game.

Now if we only had a *team* to go along with the park, it would be perfect!

One of my faves in this challenge! Well done and congrats on the ribbon!

great shot!

my only problems with it are that i would have liked to see the "P" in "PNC Park" and the black lines could have been easly cloned away.

Fun shot! What are those vertical lines going through the image in the field area? I think this is a great way to say "my town" because the town always rallies behind its sports team(s). NIce sunset feel to things, too.

Great shot with great light. The audience, the field and then the city behind it. It creates a real atmosphere of an exciting big city, Very fitting to the challenge. Inclusion of the name sign on the left would have been perfect. In my top 3

What a perfect time of day to take this one! The lighting is exquisite. It's getting a very high score - but here's something to think about next time: If a player were moving - causing a blurred motion, it would really rock!

very nice shot. you might have walked over a bit so you would have still gotten the game and the skyline, but not the net behind the plate.

Classic shot. Great DOF and nicely saturated colours. Pleasing composition. If only the sky had been more clear on that side of the stadium that particular day. I can see a shot like this in a travel guide for Pittsburg. One of my highest votes BTW.

I should rate this low since you guys beat us today (after the rain!) :) Nice shot, but I wish it was a slightly different angle to get all of the PNC Park words in. I really like the time of day this was taken - the lighting and contrast is nice. It tells you something about the city, as well as showing the city in the background,
which really helps it fit the challenge well. We'll take the final game from ya tomorrow!

Looked at it closer...I think it's Sean Casey at the plate with Adam Dunn on deck.
