Ya, it's a breathtaking place that contributed. Many photographers were there the same day I took this, I believe they all love that place. I left after dark without shooting star tracks because my camera was out of battery, I hate that. I need to prepare another battery.

Hmmmmm. . . .might want to win another ribbon in the purple challenge :) Oh no wait. That's basic editing. Darn.

You're right tho. HDR definitely takes away from this photo. I have often found the same thing to be true.

It is still a breathtaking scene -- no matter HOW you process it!
