this is such a cool shot! Wonderful DOF. Putting it in the sepia tone added a certain 'mood' to this shot. Nice job.

OK, I didn't look closely enough before--now I see that unexpected aspect is having the pedestrian bridge built over the railroad tracks...sheesh, am I blind?

I honestly didn't enjoy many in this particular challenge, but this one is an image that I have held in my head for years and its like seeing a thought manifested. Very nice.

I like the fact that this is black and white, and it draws you to centre of the photograph, I rate this a 8

The image is great! Composition very well done. I love the way the left side has the "extra" fence while the right side doesn't. This is one time where my biggest complaint with an entry is its title. I can think of many many more appropriate titles without really trying. Great use of black and white.

There's something about black and white that really fascinates me. Well done. You've caught something that most people take for granted.

Great photo - a more subtle sense of serendipity, although it does rely on your title a bit. It's still top-notch composition and should score high.

The title is a bit much for me... needs simplification.
The photo is wonderful. Great composition and neat perspective. It is serendipitous since the aesthetics were discovered.

I really like this, it gives mystery and where does the road go, and where is the person heading....it leaves the story open...

A nice photo, lovely in B/W, I think I understand the serendpitous (?) nature of the image but it doesn't jump out at you, for instance if you were a train this situation would be a disaster!

I could imagine this black and white photo as the cover of a memoir novel. Excellent photo!

This is a well photographed and excellent take on the Challenge. The person on the converted bridge tells the story as does your title. Good one!

You really needed this shot for parallel lines! They are all over the place and make this shot very interesting.

Really good tonal range. I like how the perspective lines lead towards the person walking. It really draws your eyes into the image.

A wonderful photo - great perspective, I love the reclaimed nature of the bridge and the placement of the person on it. I wonder about how well it fits the assignment, but I gave it my highest mark, I'm glad you chose black and white.
