Finally I've figured out how to write stuff post challenge.

So this has been my most exciting week on DPC, thanks, huuuuge thanks for the great comments and finally I've got not only a Posthumous ribbon but a YankO as well! Wooot!!! I love this image, it's weird but it touches me and says something, it's the kind of thing I've been trying to find the courage to do for such a long time. Of course I knew it would score badly but I knew that a couple of the TS'rs would say something nice about it. I didn't expect that anyone really like it.

Thanks again.

I am one of your three 10's...and am completely dismayed to see this photo at this placement! Bah on the voters...what a truly exceptional image...IMHO...;-)

Wow that's strange. It looks like it was taken on the moon.

Gets my YankO Red. Good luck!

I am not sure what those spots are, but you know, I like this image for it's arty look

Fascinating reflection, and the movement on the figure inthe foreground gives this an apocalyptic feel. The world has just ended, or is in the process off, and yet he reads (at least I see it as a "he" and reading.) Very cool shot.

I'm not sure what you were trying to do with this, but it doesn't work for me. The image is blurry in general (hand held in low light?) and the "motes" in the big bright area are distracting.

The lighting creates the mood very well. Nice shot

The concept seems very interesting, but the quality is poor (white and black dots, pixels, artefacts...) Looks like a crop of a much bigger image or an image capture @ very low resolution.
A pity, it's a good - even fascinating - composition

It looks like there is camera shake here.
