 I was really frustrated by my some last entries so when I saw this contest the only idea which came into my mind was this.

I ran into this again while browsing the page for the 18-55 IS kit lens. I see that I gave it an 8 in voting. It's going into my faves now.

Processing really suits the mood of this. Very well done, emotive. I like the shaft of light offering a bit of hope to the scene, but yet not reaching his face.

I'm not sure if the freckling of his skin is natural or from processing. Regardless, this is distracting from the whole.

I don't like the super-gritty feel of the image, and the space where the clothing is just seems to cut the person in half completely, but I like the idea dn composition.

This tells a pretty cool story. Great processing. As a side note, I know the frustration of freckling easily, but never considered taking refuge from the sun in a box :P
