 I converted the photo from RAW to jpeg in Lightroom. It's mostly contrast and saturation adjustments. Then I used PS to clone out some sensor dust (my sensor is really dirty) and sharpened.

What's not to like? :) It is a lovely scene that fits the challenge extraordinarily well.

The only little nitpick and it obviously didn't affect your score negatively, is that your horizon is completely in the middle. While this affords a nice view of both the sky and water, moving it up or down might have made it feel more dramatic.

THAT SAID, I think this image exemplifies how the "rules" of photography can be broken and still be a wonderful, strong image.

Great image and congrats on your ribbon.

újééé!!! Unnur barþjónn að fokking meika það :D haha
En þetta er virkilega glæsileg mynd hjá þér. Þó að mér finnist yfirlitsmyndir af lóninu eiginlega aldrei virka, þá er þetta örugglega eina myndin sem ég hef séð af Jökulsárlóni þar sem er ekki verið að einblína á eitthvað eitt atriði og samt er hún alveg fullkomin!! Bara glæsilegt alveg hreint!!!

doesnt that one ice cap in the front right look a bit like an offwhite, grayish colored seal. hahah i like the shot a lot. very impressive
