Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Urban Landscapes III (Basic Editing)
Camera: Nikon D300
Lens: Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro for Nikon
Location: Melbourne Australia
Date: Jun 30, 2008
Aperture: F18
ISO: 200
Shutter: 15 Seconds
Galleries: Cityscape, Black and White
Date Uploaded: Jul 1, 2008

The Image: I just had to head to the city, the sky was beautiful. I took about 120 images, and the sky was literally on fire for the sunset. I could have used one of these images, but 640 pixels sucks, and so it was a poor result. I went for this one instead.

The Edit: USM, Grayscale, Duotone, Resize, Noise Ninja, Levels and Curves.

The Prediction: some will mention they don't like the border as usual, but I do :)
6.4 something.

Love this beauty - even if the blue tone is missing ;-D I mistook KelvinCs image for yours (as did a lot of others ;-) Great work, Enzo - congrats on 6th place.

nice photo, a bit too dark, the "so hated" frame is not visible very much so it's not interfering with the subject(s) too much. imho the composition is kindof ackward so to say but looking at it more it turns out cool enough. ... and yes i bet the voters did recognize the photog so there you are :-)

A good simple and clean shot. BW works well here. A seven for you.

I like the minimalism, the B/W, the crispiness, the starry strret lights, the negative space, but above all I like the picture as a whole.

B&W seems to work very well here. But the empty dark space at the bottom does not add value to the picture.

I would prefer the bottom third be cropped out, but I love the shot.
