Front tires turned as far as they would go and moistened with water. Red acrylic paint brushed along one tread line and toy truck snugly wedged onto tread. Avoided eye contact with passing neighbors.

Post Processing:
Curves to enhance brightness & contrast, Hue/Saturation for small global saturation boost, Unsharp Mask, Crop and addition of border.

Credits:
Son, Harrison, for the Hot Wheels truck
Daughter, Giselle, for the paint brush
Wife, Amanda, for getting daughter ready for school while I shot strange last-minute pictures in the carport.

Great perspective, color and tire composition. The image would be much improved without the truck.

It's a shame the paint ran. I think the tyre alone would have been a better shot...you've got a good focus on the texture, shape and shine.

Interesting take on the challenge. It seems like I should be able to find something to criticize, but I can't. Keep up the good work. 10

Nice exposture and composition. I'm not sure whats in the upper right corner, but it's slightly distracting. Nice pic though overall..

Although a great shot, the Hotwheels and paint ruin this one for me. I like the composition, the lighting, the dof, the texture of the tire... Think this would have been way better without the add-ons!

That's better than the one with the little model posed on top of a tire in the fender

I believe the toy is not necessary. Would have been a great marketing photo for the tire without it!

Composition and idea are very good. Here we can see that you really put much effort into the idea execution :)

Nice execution of main subject but what is that in the backround? How much effort whent into this? Looks like enough to justify the effort of moving that black thing or getting some paper to cover it over.

Excellent composition. The angle used brings your eyes from the bottom of the shot where the redline is and is lead right to the toy truck. The great closeup gives you a sense of the texture of the rubber in the tires. "10"
