Ooops apparently Myk Olearly isn't the only DPC guy from Seattle. :)

Excellent composition, great impact, colour and curves

Striking. Eye catching. Great idea. Looks like you put some thought into it.

Another entry from the Seattle contingent. This image has it all; curves, architecture, color, shadows, light
04/13/2002 09:40:00 PM
You have a good eye. Great depth too.
04/13/2002 09:39:00 PM
Excellent perspective of a commonly photographed Seattle landmark. Top points for composition, color and creativity.
04/13/2002 01:41:00 PM
This photo is great -- I saw the arch of the space needle and thought, man it would be awesome if he (she?) lined up those curves. And you did! Great colors. Great composition.

The framing effect brought my eyes immediately to the buidling, but after studying the picture more carefully, I noticed that there are more curves in the foreground than in the building. I think the lack of contrast distracted from this picture.

It's gotta be Myk OLeary. It's a nice shot, I like how the red curves around the needle curve.
04/11/2002 03:09:00 PM
Ya know, I just can't make up my mind about this one. I like it one day and not the next. Excellent contrast, field, and composition. Maybe its the colors....
04/11/2002 01:08:00 PM
This is super cool, great color! Was the picture sharpened at all? It might benefit.
04/11/2002 06:59:00 AM
Ugh, another nice shot of the space needle. Wish I had something like that to photograph. Good use of curves
04/11/2002 01:07:00 AM
Wow, great curves and great composition.
04/10/2002 08:39:00 PM
BOLD, I like it; the inclusion of the space needle gives it life; it's bizarre how my eye is drawn to the needle; great quality; a bit of glare on the right hand side
04/10/2002 01:59:00 PM
Nice framing and lighting.
04/10/2002 10:26:00 AM
The colors (looks more orange than red from here) compete with the curves a little. Probably make a great night shot, too. Wonderful composition.
04/10/2002 04:09:00 AM
Really good getting the building into the space.
04/10/2002 03:00:00 AM
well done on finding that angle. must have taken a while to find the perfect frame for the building
04/09/2002 10:55:00 PM
personally, i would've liked to crop the photo not to include wha'ts outside the main tube. but that's just me. lovely choice of subject and colors.
04/09/2002 08:42:00 PM
This is just plain great! Lots of curves and the needle ta boot. You can't go wrong with this layout either. Bravo.
04/09/2002 08:40:00 PM
Great shot looks like you did alot of scoping out to find the right place to get this shot from.
04/09/2002 05:22:00 PM
wow, this is cool. no complaints!
04/09/2002 01:13:00 PM
Confusing, but very curvy. Nice.
04/09/2002 01:03:00 PM
Beautifully done! This photo looks better and better each time I look at it.
04/09/2002 12:20:00 PM

04/09/2002 09:44:00 AM

Pacific science center ;) I love this shot! Excellent framing!! I think I may go out this weekend and snap a few similiars myself.
04/09/2002 07:39:00 AM
Great framing! That red is just fantastic.
04/08/2002 09:33:00 PM
Nice shot ...
04/08/2002 09:02:00 PM
beautiful play of light and shadows. nice curves
04/08/2002 04:24:00 PM
nice shot. great job of framing the top of the tower in that little window. this structure provides a lot of nice curves, and the lighting is very nice. good job.
04/08/2002 04:19:00 PM
Very well done!
04/08/2002 03:39:00 PM
Great composition, with the building emerging from behind the foreground.
04/08/2002 03:06:00 PM
nice 'peekaboo' shot. colors are strong. maybe a hair on the busy side but I like it.
04/08/2002 03:00:00 PM
this really captures your attention
04/08/2002 02:10:00 PM
This is a very nice photograph. It made my top 20. You have a good eye to correlate those two curves this way and the aperture setting you used allowed you to have excellent focus on both. The contrast with the shadows here is also very nice... Score: 9
04/08/2002 01:19:00 PM
Great Colors!
04/08/2002 01:04:00 PM
love the colours.
04/08/2002 12:48:00 PM
nice composition
04/08/2002 11:29:00 AM
Nice.
04/08/2002 09:40:00 AM
Good framing but seems cluttered. A bit busy - maybe you could have cropped tigher into the right hand side to remove the last curve ?
04/08/2002 08:50:00 AM
nice color and composition
