Nicole loves being a big sister to Ashley, who loves reaping the benefits of it. They seem to never tire of games like this.

In so many ways this brings back memories of the fantastic 'Grace Kelly' portrait from the side challenge last year

Its just wonderful to see sisters playing together in this way and its a great mixture of action and stillness (I love Ashley's expression of normality and calm as her hair flies behind her) and childhood and growing up

As ever beautifully processed in B&W which really is your oeuvre

Love the soft focus and the sense of movement in this photo, and being a father of tow-heads myself, I love the way you captured the light in their hair. Beautiful.

nice soft focus comp...definitely not the kind of focusing that would be appreciated by the dpc community.

although it is not possible to see their eyes(both eyes), the expressions tell us enough about their mood to make this a good story-teller.

going back to the technics used here...Ihave an issue with the bg, I mean how it looks after processing, kind of creamy, like a ruined of-camera bokeh.. maybe too much combined sharpenning and NR filtering?

The glasses, the determination and shared expressions of the two, the high contrast edge to the shot - I really, really like this one - very cool stuff

I suppose we're not surprised, eh? Tell you what - process this for printing and blow it up big, put it in a frame and you'll have a total winner. It is just gorgeous, Charlene. Too much blur my ass.

Glad you got the Kali ribbon thing.

That is so sweet to see them play together like this. If this were my boys, it would be that one of them was trying to jerk the swing out from the other lol. Looooove the sunglasses. Love the soft dreamy effect too. You and the girls are going to have so many fun and wonderful photos to look back on one day :)

A little bit too soft focus.

I really like the idea here. Conceptually it is one of my favorites, but the execution hurts it.

Absolutely magnificent and totally un-dpc-ish. I sure do hope you score well. 10 from me.

Great contrast, but it looks to be out of focus.

Too much blur and the background is too bright.

Neat picture, but I think it is a little to blown out.
