I'm not really sure how this will do but I hope it does well. This was one of the first things that came to my mind when I was trying to figure out how to make a portrait stand out.

an intellectually fascinating shot, well composed and exposed. i think i do wish the tones were a little richer. what i do love is the perversity (for those who confuse perverse with pervert: perversity = contrariness: deliberate and stubborn unruliness and resistance to guidance or discipline) of covering the eyes in a portrait. that, plus the implications of pure/impure are very interesting. keeping pure from corrupting influences, or keeping the subject's corruption from escaping. nicely done.

Different. Good processing and I like the dichotomy of your concept.

Pure - do you mean purge? The message confuses me.

this seems like a pretty fuzzy shot.

More interesting than your average headshot, kudos. The face seems unsharp to me, I'd love to see it crisper.
