I really love this idea - especially with the bokeh background. My preference is to see the leaf pop out from the background more. Maybe some boost in contrast? Right now, the color seems as muted as the background so it all kind of blends together.

I can see that you're trying to use DOF to isolate your subject but with all the "clutter", even out of focus, it's hard to focus on the plant.

Closer... I wish it was closer. Lovely reflections. They make heart shape. The background looks almost silver. The leave however is overburdened by the reflections, that's why the first thought was to come closer :)
