 I can't begin to count how many photos I have entered that were taken at Bolles while waiting for my daughters' swim practice to end.

Nice colors and but the flowers in the background almost blend in with your subject. You might have had a better shot if you'd have moved just a little to the left to get a darker background. Just a thought.

it's a little hot. what if you toned down the higlights a bit and adjusted the midtones?

Great colours, but the main subject is still soft. It's like only the edge of the closest petals are in focus. The light probably was quite harsh, as edges are a bit overexposed. It makes the dappled light barely visible. Beautiful flowers, they just need more patience I guess.
