 When I am feeling defeated, I visit the boy who cries light.
His light encourages me to carry on, even though I am at my weakest.
I draw upon the strength of his light.
It lights my path that has been darkened by life’s wrath.
He knows only happiness and joy.
I must cherish every moment with this little boy.

i really like word play, and the fact that i could read the title in two ways. the dark tones and blue work against the concept of light so well, accentuating the not only the bar of light on his face, but also the dark emotion of the image. not only does he look like he's crying light (the interpretation i actually didn't get on first viewing) but the jagged edges in the light remind me of sharp teeth, calling up the boy who cried wolf.

I don't think this baby really cries light. If he did, he would be from another planet or maybe even another galaxy. Humans don't cry light, so this isn't really believable as a story, unless it was a comic book, but that isn't the title of the challenge. Nice try... oh yeah, the picture is too dark...
