Marty wasn't unhappy with his life, just confused by its appendages. Like most boys, Marty had the normal growth spurt, topping out and holding steady at a shade over six feet. What bewildered Marty was his feet-both of them. They hadn't stopped growing, not even for a moment and now as he strapped on his size 24 sneakers, he realized that professional basketball might not be his best career path. He had what the scouts call 'game' and they came from both seaboards to Preston Falls, Indiana, hoping to catch a glimse of Marty and his feet.

His parents had taken Marty to every podiatrist, shrink, and tea leaf reader in Stumbleford County, but no one could halt the staggering growth rate of his feet. In the recesses of their hearts, they knew that Marty's feet would outgrow the full ride scholarship and all its trapping.

Thanks for the votes and thanks to Venom for modeling my short shorts, and tank outfit, compete with headband.

Shot before sunrise, one 430EX with brolly top right. Processing mainly to reveal some detail and sharpen up parts of the image as the flash didn't freeze him completely. Two RAW conversions- one for the orange in the sky, and one for the bluer tones. Probably shouldn't have vignetted so heavily but I wanted to really make it 'wacky' and 'zany'. :)

The shoes really are huge. They are bonafide clown shoes! I had a couple of other shots that showed their size a little better but I liked this angle the best.

This is too cool. Nice bit of humour. The lighting and the post process is great. The outfit and the chucks are classic.

I thought this was a great photo - loved the shoes! It fit the challenge perfectly as I felt this was something that you'd see in a modern fairy tale book.

His feet certainly do look enormous! Good lighting and colors. I like the angle as well. Among my top five. Good luck

Look at the air underneath those shoes! The vignetting adds a great touch here. The colors actually look awesome too. -BB

PS. Of course I want to "fav" it.

what strange photo. it have an unusual perspective, all the dimentions of the object in the image seems fake not only the foots. probably for the position(the tilted image help you here) or for the lens on the camera. good the colours. 8 for the photo+2 for the idea of this point of view.

everything is awesome but i must comment that the burning on the top and left edges is a bit too obvious and detracts from the shot. Otherwise, the colors are awesome, lighting on the shooter is great (so is his pose), and everythign else is well put together, 8, gl

I love the angle and the colors. Also, the fact that you have to look closely to see where the story is! Great work! 9
