I just wrote an enormously long explanation and then lost it because I had to log in again etc.
A) There's more than one connotation to the word game.

B) There's a new opera in Oslo.

C) Immigrant minorities can feel fundamentally disincluded when a nation of 4 million shells out half a billion dollars for a monument to European culture and privilege (arguably unfair, but you get the point)

D) A 'concert' was arranged in the foyer of the building aimed at getting the uninvolved to feel more involved. Many artists of non-European extraction performed and a couple of government ministers did their thing in the intervals.

E) This is the head of the opera, Bjørn Simensen, saying some words after being introduced by Hannah Wozene Kvam. They are both good, well-intentioned, well-meaning people and they are essentially doing a good thing.

F) Just to keep the letter thing going. This is a playing of the race card and it is a game. Less puerile than the sort of game to which this challenge apparently referred, but a game nonetheless.

G) Wizz, I rest my case.

Now knowing the story behind the photo, I do see your interpretation (I think) but it's one that was lost on about 99% of your audience, I wouldn't have worked it out in a million years if I'd not seen your explanation.

That said, I don't feel it deserved anything like the score it did though :-( There's nothing technically wrong with the photo at all. The details and lighting are excellent.

Poor composition, and the hands are blurred. Is also not games related. Sorry.

Does this meet the challenge other than the title?

Seems like a rather tasteless comment on an innocuous photo where that is obviously not the case.

An interesting interpretation but very title dependent, unless some may think it's a game show - has that feel to it.
