Don't think this will be good enough for a magazine, but I like it. Just a "prefab" salad.

Cropped, converted from raw, some level adjustment, resized and sharpened.

I'd eat it for lunch!

Not voting just commenting. Odd choice to shoot the subject through the bowl, but you managed to do so without a lot of light reflections and the focus is good. Composition could be better.

This looks really professional, like magazine quality, i like the soothing greens and yellows that you used, along with white. I think it makes it look more sophisticated. Like i said before, magazine quality.

The lip of the bowl is kind of at an awkward place in this shot

The highest part of the bowl is very disturbing here as well as the fact that the coriander is cut out. May another angle? Higher? Lower? It's sad because it does look healthy and delicious. I am giving you a 7 anyway because it meets the magazine challenge to me. If I was an editor, I would publish it : but I would ask you to crop it first ;)

I like the colors of the salad. The first thing my eyes sees is the cheese. For me, I wish there was either more of the bowl or that the bottom green wasn't cut off. Well done overall though. 6

The front sprigs are a nice touch. The salad is "ok"...something about the image is lacking a wow factor. Maybe it's the reflections on the glass bowl? It's not a "bad" photo, just not very "exciting/interesting". All JMO of course. :-) Good luck in the challenge.
