Nice image... great expression on the face and just the right amount of motion blur on the sponge. There's a little bit of visible halo effect around the hair area and the edge of the hole. Wonder how many times you had to throw the sponge at his face. :-) -- 9

very hard to find the moving object because background is in full focus and too busy(colorful),2 .

the sponge is pretty easy to miss, but great capture.

This should do very well for you. I hope that's a sponge and not a blule brick...lol.

it took me a while to see your flying sponge. great catch and the expression on the kiddo's face is priceless.

Cute, but really I thought that the image is too big and the sponge is too small - a bit more of an aggressive crop and more focus in the lads face and the sponge might have made what's going on more immediately apparent and more involving for the viewer. It's a nice idea, but I personally do not think that in this case the picture is enhanced by the motion blur. The clarity of colours and the focus is largely top notch though, and it is a likeable image. 5.

An interesting idea, great expression. I think the shot could have been made more dramatic in several ways: Maybe a longer shutter speed would have helped, but my choice of shot would have been a long shutter speed to show the motion trail of the sponge including the moment where it hits his face which could have been caught with a flash.
