| Nicely captured. The water makes this shot and you having the focus spot-on on the ripples in the water. I like how the DOF, in-front of and behind the area of interest fades the water out of focus. Nice colors and good detail. I may have named it the "taste tester" or "taking a sip". Good shot. |

very nice and crisp. there's only that blury beign thing in the bottom left corner that I find distracting.

| Duck photos usually don't tend to thrill me, but this is a really nice capture. It has a few things going for it... good light, great sharpness, a cool shape created between the bill and the water with the reflection and the nice circular ripples created from the bill. |

The colors here are absolutely stunning. Amazingly so. It would be a ten if the duck's bottom were a smidge more visible/lighter (but perhaps that's my monitor, so I'm not marking down for that) and that stuff in the lower left were cloned out (this could have easily been fixed since it's Advanced editing).
I like looking at it, again and again... so it's definitely a success! |
