 I'm quite pleased with this one. Got the timing just right :-)

Not much editing. There is a reed behind the swan's neck I thought about cloning out but deciided it'd be too tricky. Did a bit of cloning to make it less obvious. Also cloned out a reed and a random bit of white.

Apart from that, not a lot: converted from RAW, saturation boost, crop, resize, and lots ot sharpening, plus dodging and burning on the beak and neck.

this is great! I find myself wondering if this was cropped in from the left, down from the top, and if it might be even better if the neck was not out of frame. Or, cropping a bit more to lose the blue bit in the upper left. Gosh, it must be annoying to read a stream of consciousness comment like this. Don't mind me, Well Done! 7

This is very nice, but I think I have to compare this to another strong swan photo in this challenge, and that one is just a touch sharper, plus had the open bill. However... good frozen action and overall strong photo.
