I've looked at this several times now, and for quite awhile at each viewing. I really can't explain what draws me to it. I like how the fan is singularly crisp and sharp, but lightly so. I like the detrius (is that the word?) on the floor, the filth on the fan base. I like the person with the head illuminated almost to oblivion but not quite. And I really like the toning a lot.

I am cynical enough to disagree with you about the "everything" part, but interesting is a definite. I love the processing in your images, and this is no exception.

I love images that utilize simple things. Sometimes I find that when I go out at take pictures I try to find things that jump out (which isn't bad), but some of the best images are of the "smaller details." I think your idea here is fantastic. Keep up the great work!

I love old fans. Having the guy off in the distance OOF is great. Nice use of negative space between them.
