the overall sharpness of your image makes it stand out

I'll admit freely, that this one is difficult for me. Red is actually a warm color, no matter how deep that red is. Same with pink (in the splash zone.) So I started looking for the cool color...I am hoping that this is not DNMC. That brings me to the ever controversial BLACK, neutral, warm or cool, it is all things depending on who you talk to and what color wheel you choose to use. But I am using the accepted painters/fashion wheel that dictates black as a neutral. I know that scientifically, black is all colors combined so it can go anywhere. I also know that some photographers will argue that black occurs with an absense of light, therefore it is nothing.

So, long story short, I have to be consistent in my voting/commenting. So I will have to go with DNMC, but I did try to see your side of it, I really did.

But good news to you...I am always consistent which means that I do vote on the merits of the shot first, then subtract a point for what I consider a DNMC (I am not a 1 troll...yeah for you!)

this is a really cool shot, but there is no cool colors in it.

With the red strawberry and the slight orange cast splash, I see this suites better on the Warm Colors challenge.

Great shot but I don't see any cool colors. Red is warm and the water in the glass has a warm tint as well.

Wow. Amazing shot.

nice photo, maybe some blueberries or a blue/green background would make this more of a cool colour feel, the green gives some cool colour

Nicely done - would have liked it more if you would have cropped the grey thing away...

Strawberries wouldn't have been my bery of choice for cool colors... the splash effect is getting a little tired but i like how the background is solid and dark so it doesn't distract.

No cool colors

Red isn't a cool color, its a warm color. Its a cool picture, but its in the wrong category.

Nice photo. Seems to be missing an emphasiss on the cool colors (blue, green), which may cost you points in the voting.

Too obviously staged.

The splash is very nice, but why use warm colors for a "cool" assignment?

Nice splash effect

i dont think i would classify this as a "cool color" shot. the main color i see is red, and that is a very "warm" color.

Red is a warm color. B/W are neutral....

The red strikes me as being quite a warm tone, otherwise, nice shot
