 For this one I wanted to find something in nature. I have always been fascinated by the dead old vines hanging off the pine tree and palm trees. They are always twisting and turning on themselves. I saw this vine hidden underneath the palm trees. I had to use a silver reflector to shine some light into the shadows. It didn't look exciting by itself so I decided to take a chance and convert it to B/W and then duotone it. My husband loved this shot so I decided to go with it.

the dark and light, the twisting forms, the death and life. stunning, composition and tones all spot on. this keeps me warm at night.
