Shot at the Barnes & Nobel store at Baltimore's Inner Harbor. These are the smoke stacks of the old converted power plant. They're just flipped sideways.

Rotated, cropped, resized, shadow/highlight, levels, noise ninja, sharpen, healling brush, burning, resize canvas, resize

Post Challenge - Thanks for the high score. I don't fully understand it, but I'll take it. I know it's curvy, and well lit and mostly sharp, but it's monotone and blurry up front. I probably would have only given it a 6 myself. I was just hoping to break 5.5 with it. You just never know around here.

wow, nice colors and composition. not sure i like the shadows of the rivets, too many lines in the curvy perfection. Great capture though

I love this type of image, and this one would have been "best in show" for me if not for the full-frontal-loss-of-focus.... But this is very well seen, composed, lit, and would be worth a reshoot if that is possible. This is obviously a depth of field challenge (digital-back view camera, anyone?) I wonder if two separate exposures for near and far focus could be merged to accomplish this? sorry--just thinkin out loud, there.... 9

I think I've seen this sculpture before but it does make a very fine subject and works well for this challenge.
