Open Raw, Adjust contrast, dodge and burn, Magnetic Lasso tool, selected the dress, and adjusted the dress color by Color Balance,
Inverted selection, turned image to B&W, refined edges.
Dodge and burn again, cloned minor imperfection, save for web.

I like this, but think it would have been much stronger without the selective desat. The strong pink color overpowers the picture and pulls my eye away from the baby.

To me the bright pink and disconnected supporting hands in the same image are rather disturbing. I think I would have much preferred a straight B&W shot (the bow and hairband and lace give away the baby's gender, if it matters that the viewer know that, although it's not clear to me why it would). Still, her head is not visibly supported and that's worrying to me. But perhaps you meant for the viewer to be disturbedby her incomplete support.

to be frank, this image strikes me as more creepy than intimate.
The color on the dress, the lack of body and those monocrome hands & baby makes the kid look deceased...
if that's the association you were going for, great, but I suspect it isnt
