 I really like the look of flowers when they are strongly backlit. so I wanted to use that concept for this challenge. Taken of a white flower, backlit by LED headlamp. I like the pattern of the petals. Let's hope the voters like it as much as I do.

PP - opened RAW in CS3, adjusting exposure, clarity and vibrance. cloned out a few dust spots (nothing shows dust like a white subject shot at f16!). slight crop. layers for curves (2x). USM at 20,50,0, then again at 150, 1, 0. black and white layer. resize, add border, save for web.

A normally colorful flower stands out when done in b/w. The backlighting brings out the details in the petals quite nicely. I like it.
