Taken near sundown; one of several of this acreage that is a garlic farm, mini golf course and campground, and where these alders border the very wet garlic field. Minimal pp: slight crop, some colour and contrast adjustment, USM, scale sharpen and compress (Irfanview). Had another version of same frame in BW, heavily processed in the Gimp but it looked to be just that, and alders, for all that they are a weed tree and grow quickly big and want to die and fall down dangerously, are quite attractive with red tints in the early spring. Oh, and I am not too excited about this, possibly because it might have been better if I had remembered to change my ISO back down to 50 from 100.

It's a shame, this should have scored higher. I gave it a 6 only because I felt your shot could have benefitted from cropping off the right side to get the blue. I'm looking thru your other comments, I don't think that it's oversaturated and I do not see snow lol. It's a very pretty scene and I like the balance of stick straight trees with the running horizontal white fence. Pretty!

You really have great scenery, and a fine composition here, but it's oversaturated, and would benefit from a more natural look. That blue up top wouldn't have been so distracting otherwise... but this is still a fine photo.

Like how the fence winds around inside the photo, with the contrasting direction of the trees.

The trees steal the composition and the shot has become about the trees. The fence is an isignificant backdrop to those trees.

More foreground grass would have balanced it better. Shooting at angle may have made more diagonal lines which always look nice.

Don't get me wrong, this is a good image and I like it, BUT.....the contrast seems a bit heavy on the snow and the alders do detract from the fence as the subject. That said, I do like that the fence(s) complement rather than dominate the image.
