Beautiful, I love the way light on the face makes the subject dominate even though there is a lot of other elements in the shot. Terrific!

What a great image of 'western' USA. Superb portrait and an outstanding black and white conversion. I have no doubt the subject (human not equine) in this shot would absolutely love a copy of this image. Strong conceptually and technically

| This is just a good shot. The focus of both the guy and his horse is perfect as is the sharpness. The black and white conversion was definitely the right way to go for this one. I even like the boarder. Well done...6 |

| About one out of every 100 photos I vote on just make me go "excellent!", this one did it. That may not be good news for you as I'm not good at picking out DPC winners, but this is a great shot, spot on with the challenge criteria, and doesn't even require a title. I could've told you "good ol boy" without the subject line. Only suggestion would be to lighten up the shadows a bit, but even that's a minor critique. |
