 Another creative challenge, and I had an idea, and this is the result.

Some time ago I broyght some colored bending pencils, and also saw these bright packet of colored sticks. They looked like toothpicks, but they have four sides square edges like a match.

I just jumbled them into a shallow container, to form a crazy mess like abstract design. I them put vaseline on my lens for a blurred effect, and started photogrphing some images.

This is the result.....

I WANT SOME OF THESE LOL. IT REMINDS ME OF SOMETHING I HAD AS A KID TOO. MAKES ME THINK IT'S A MACRO VIEW OF PARTS OF A RAINBOW.

Reminds me of a toy I had as a child - Pick-up Stix. Great colors. The vaseline trick was a good idea - it gave a nice blur!

OMG SHEZ... i cant believe it .. who are these voters ?? ..
i reckon this is excellent .. beautiful soft pastel colours and most definitely fits the challenge .. i'm so sorry this didnt do a lot better .. :)

First glance I gave this a 5, but I'm upgrading to a 7, because this one stands out to me after scoring the whole challenge. I like the subtle blur on this and the colors are really nice, kinda like a soft abstract painting.

more contrast and camera movement wouldve nailed this.the sticks seem chaotic/messy but the blur isnt strong enuff in my opinion,nice try and great idea
