What I really liked about this was how the wind made the feathers look soft and flowing - as if they were melting into the waves. I was also wondering if this bird felt like a chaotic mess with all that wind that day. So here you have it - my version of blur and chaos.

Very cool effect. It almost appears like an Saluki (dog).

Well I think you can feel hard done by with this shot, like you I love the melding of the feathers and the waves as well as the fact that is stands alone as an interesting image outside of the challenge

Interesting Bell curve on the votes you got, nice to see that there were a lot of people who totally got this inage

Nicely done! Love the wind blur effect. I think that bird was feeling the chaos! LOL!

Wow Michelle. I absolutely love the processing in this image. It's absolutely lovely how soft and flowing the very white feathers are against the water all around. Just stunning, quite underrated, imo. Another very well executed image.

I actually liked this one a fair bit Michelle, esp with the B&W it almost had a surreal feel to it.

The ocean is indeed a chaotic mass- the bird seems unbewildered and at home there - so I think I get the title. 6

looks like a bit of overuse of NeatImage, but I like how the bird blends with the water surface. title is perfect.

blurry yes, not so much chaotic and disorganised, maybe an even slower shutter speed would have made it more so .... does just about meet the challenge. Certainly an interesting and engaging photograph though and I think the desat works well

Great picture but not blurry.

A good concept, however it looks like most of the blur was added after the shot, rather than in-camera.
