I originally had a different idea for this challenge, but due to my model having a moment.(It serves me right, she is only three after all) I had to come up with another idea and quick. I have to give my wife some credit on this one. (She is the model without the attitude) She suggested I use an old wrapping paper tube to capture her eye and give it a sense of isolation. I'm really happy on how it came out and if nothing else I was able to spend some quality time with my wife on a Saturday night. (I'm hoping this will lead to more camera gear)

Very green. Good use of lighting and isolation, although perhaps a little too jarring in terms of brightness.

Very nice job here I love how you got great results from what I think are simple means. (A TP roll?)

Not a bad idea - but needed a tighter crop. The edge of the eart and shoulder do nothing to enhance the picture. The eye is nice and clear and colourful though.

An excellent idea, and overall composition and technicals - but I would like to see the eye end of that tube more perfectly round. The roughness is a wee bit distracting. Great shot!

I think this shot would be more pleasing to me, if the eye were lower in the tube. Not centered, but lower. At it's current placement, the corners of the eye are cut off and you lose the line of the eye. The green would really stand out more, if we had the entire area to look at.

I would have scored this higer if the circle surronding the eye had been centered on the eye. Lovely colour of the eye though

Eww, this gives me the creepy crawlies!! It really fits the theme. I think the contrast between the l. side of the face & the dark background on the rt could be more pronounced. Or, take out the neck & shoulder;leave it all black except for the eye, & have it more centered in the hole in the fabric. Very creative.

This is kind of weird because I don't see what the model is looking through. Good atmospheric lighting and good detail in the eye.

Beautiful color on the eye...But i find the white (part of a shirt?) on the bottom right slightly distracting.
