I don't know what you did to this image but it didn't work, for me. Seeing shadows other than their natural colours just makes my eyes want to look away.

The contrast is pretty dull on this, I'm afraid. Some adjustments with curves and perhaps adjusting white balance would help this out a lot.

Nice idea with the crab. I like it that we can see his "eyes". Perhaps a different background colour?
