| Okay, so I don't know what the heck was going on in my head when I voted on this. I gave it a 7. It clearly deserves a 10. I love the depth of field, the silkiness of the water, and the outstanding focus on the turtles head. Adding this to my favorites. |

| I am SO GLAD you commented on my lowly frog photo. THIS IS AMAZING!! Wow!! What an incredible capture - kudos to you!! Wow wow wow!! My little frogs are captive and have been told repeatedly how unauthentic they are blah blah blah - don't care I like the smile they bring to my face when I shoot them with bright things and this brought an absolute grin to my face. Fantastic!! |

Hi Sandi,
Iam currently in the Philippines in a Gloria Jeans Coffee shop in the middle of Tacloban City, a very poor region of this area. We are here to speak at some pastors conferences and churches.
Despite the super slow wireless connection here, I just had to comment on this superb image and how this little guy/gal has locked in to your Canon 70-200 2.8 lens! I LOVE this, and had to congratulate you on your much deserved BLUE!
Not only did you get a Blue but also a PB so double congratulations!

1. Congratulations on the blue and the high score
2. Your shots are fantastic, so for you to set a PB you have to realise that you have an image here which would grace any wall, publication or gallery

and wow .. not a 1 or 1 2 in sight .. !!
i'm thinking tho that this is a very 'friendly' image .. i cant see how it could upset anyone or give them the heeby jeebies, like an insect for example, and yet you got 3's, 4's and 5's .. who are those ppl .. ??
i'm really getting 'annoyed' with ppl who give out that sort of score when the image is so obviously brilliant .. 'annoyed' is an understatement .. :) |

One of my three favourites in the challenge. Brilliant capture, especially having your subject looking directly at the camera in the way it is. Amazing range of greens and the sharpmess on both the eyes above the water and the body beneath it (which does not suffer from any refraction issues) is outstanding

| Wowsers!! Awesome shot here! I absolutely love all the earthy green tones in the image. Such a great abstract feel going on, with his head poking through, almost in a surreal way. Very cool entry for this challenge, and even more important, a really, really cool shot all on it's own. Great work! |

| I really like this photo the only thing that kind of looks weird to me is that the turtles shell seems kind of flat, maybe due to the water, overall though I like this photo alot. |

The soft emerald of the water is so beautiful. I might have cropped out a small bit from the bottom and right side, but the turtle is so damn cute he demands attention. Ta' heck with rule of thirds!
