Decus et Tutamen is the full inscription on the edge of the britsh £1 coin and it translates from Latin to English as 'An Ornament and a Safeguard'

I am happy to see the triptych to show the whole inscription. The last one, Tutamen, is just slightly off in regard to the N. I really like these photos. Keep the macro view going strong. The lighting is a bit different in each one and I always wonder how to get a series of images to have good detail as well as the lighting be the same. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Beautiful! DOF is perfect. I have not one complaint about the images. The border however is a bit thick for my tastes (spelled being anal). Left side box is slightly larger than the others causing a bit of an uneven weight in the triptych and the background in that cell is slightly lighter as well.
